Bluff Creek Campgrounds is a campground catering to people who want a private and quiet camping experience.
The Terms and conditions apply to everyone that visits our campground.

Cancellation and Credit Policy:
​
Unfortunately to keep our bookings viable no special allowance is made for illness including COVID, isolation, weather, mechanical breakdowns. If you are concerned - please book last minute or purchase travel insurance. The below notice periods apply to all refunds and credits except long weekends, Easter and Christmas which have addition conditions. We welcome bookings on the day.

Giving notice of cancellation must be via email to info@kenilworthcampgrounds.com or via phone calling 53702030, you can let us know by leaving a voicemail anytime. It helps us if you leave your full name that the booking is in and the original arrival date.

Christmas, Easter and Long Weekend bookings 14 days in advance for refunds (minus credit card and admin fees) Cancellations more than 7 days but less than 14 - a 50% credit is available. Cancellations less than 7 days before are forfeited. For large bookings at Christmas and Easter we recommend travel insurance or trying for a last minute booking.

More than 4 days notice - 10% cancellation

Less than 4 days notice: Cancellation fee from 25%
​
Less than 24 hours (the day of arrival up to 1 pm on the day of arrival): Cancellation fee of 25% of booking total + $10 processing. From 1pm on day of arrival -cancellations result in a 100% forfeited booking.

No show, no arrival, no notice, notice after the arrival day, leaving early - no refund or credit.
​
No refunds are offered for leaving early. this includes weather, bugs, sickness, equipment failure etc.
​
Credits are able to be used once - rebooking or cancelling a booking made with a cancellation/postponement credits is only allowed with 7 full days notice. Cancelling a booking made with a credit 7 days or less out forfeits the credit. Booking carefully or last minute to avoid disappointment.

Admin fee is variable as depends on card used and payment method.
​
Seniors price only applies to Government aged pension Card holders only. We do not ask if you are eligible but are happy to provide a discount upon presentation of Government Aged Pension Card. Senior prices are not offered during school holiday, long weekend periods.

Privacy: All information about our guests i:e email address names phone no's etc remains confidential and will only be used to contact you if need be.

We do not take bookings for schoolies, bucks, hens, groups of P platers, unaccompanied minors and similar events/groups.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and pet waste must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in appropriate bag. Dog owners are responsible for their animals at all times. Dogs that bite must immediately leave the property and are reported to the authorities.

Fires are permitted however; we ask that you use the fire ring or existing fireplace. Fires are dangerous please take care and supervise children near fires. Firewood may be collected, however, no cutting down of standing timber. Please do not leave fires unattended and fires must be extinguished and cleaned up before departure. No outside/3rd party wood contractors are permitted on the property. Campers may bring wood, buy from us or organise a bulk order with an approved contractor through us.

Noise, please respect your neighbour’s…. noise curfew applies 10pm-7am

Generators. Operating times are 8 am to 7pm - please limit use to as short as possible during this period. It is not desirable to run the generator constantly for the entire day.

Driving on the property. Although not a necessity Four Wheel Drive can be an advantage, especially in wet weather. However should you have a problem we will be glad to help you out, just contact the office. No unregistered vehicles are permitted on the property. We have some very steep and narrow tracks, engage 4 wheel drive to minimize track damage please keep to existing tracks only. A strict speed limit is enforced on the property to ensure the comfort and safety of all people on site. People driving in a manner that management consider dangerous will be asked to leave the property.

Camper safety is important to us. Please report any issues to the 24hr phone line. Please be aware of signage that provides safety directions/guidelines. Walking/hiking tracks/trails may be slippery, steep. Snakes and ticks may be present on or near walking tracks. Cars and vehicles also use some trails and tracks. Care and appropriate footwear/safety precautions should be taken on the trails.

No unsupervised camping for children/minors - all children must be accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult for the entirety of the camp.

Common sense and lawful terms always apply even if we haven't specified we can't break the law for you. If you're concerned contact us with your questions before arrival.

Swimming is permitted in the creek or river and other bodies of water, however, please be aware there are submerged logs and rocks and water is shallow in parts. Children must be supervised at all times around waterways. Swim at your own risk, no claim is made to safe swimming opportunities. Swimming in rivers can be dangerous please exercise care entering, while in and leaving the water and river bank. The campgrounds does not monitor or provide life saving supervision.

Fishing is permitted however, a catch and released policy is encouraged. Please note that some species are protected, no fishing in the creek. Bluff Creek Campground makes no claim to the safety of eating fish caught in the river.

Amenities blocks are located just below the office and is open at all times, during the holiday season portable toilets will be also made available. Cleaning times 10am-11am. Any issues please call or text the office.

We have an environmentally sensitive Septic system (Eco safe) we request that no antibacterial chemicals or soaps be used or baby wipes are to be placed in septic, as it will damage the system. At this stage we do not have sewerage dump facilities for porta loo’s, there is one available at the Kenilworth showground. Please supervise children in and near the ammenities blocks and report any issues.

Rubbish, we have a bin located at the front gate or take rubbish with you. Please take care when opening the bin lids. Pinch points exist and can cause injury. For help or to report an issue please contact the on-site managers.

Check in is after 11. Early check in is sometimes available charges apply.

Anti social behaviour is unwelcome at our property and we reserve the right to ask any person to leave the property at anytime. No refunds/credits are provided to people instructed to leave - we donate the camping fees of people instructed to leave to charity.
